She spent ten years at a city attorney’s office, where she worked across various legal areas, including municipal prosecution, civil service, and employment law. However, the majority of her time was dedicated to litigation, handling cases at all levels—from Justice of the Peace courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Following her tenure in municipal law, Cassie worked in-house for a school district’s legal department, focusing on education law.
