Sam Hawk

Professional Qualifications

Sam Hawk’s entire career has focused on public service including over 20 years as a municipal attorney.

His municipal experience includes 10 years with the City of Dallas and six with the City of Arlington.  Sam began his legal career as an officer in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps.

His military career highlights include felony prosecution with the First Armored Division in Germany, ethics attorney at the Pentagon, Chief of Administrative Law for the Fourth Infantry Division at Fort Hood, Texas and Deputy Staff Judge Advocate for Fort Rucker, Alabama. 

He attained the rank of Major and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal with four oak leaf clusters.
